Strategic Land team exchanges contract to promote 56-acre site in the Chiltern District

The deal will see the team promote the greenfield site on behalf of the land owner through the Buckinghamshire Council Local Plan, with an extensive programme of stakeholder engagement and community consultation, to help deliver what is needed within the local area.

Offering excellent connections to the wider area as well as London, the site has the potential to deliver much needed new homes to the region as well as new and enhanced community facilities.

Mac Mic Group envisions a landscape led proposal which will present an opportunity to create new wildlife habitats, enhance biodiversity and turn currently private land into a development with publicly accessible green spaces that the existing and new community can enjoy.

Nicholas Rennie, Strategic Land Manager South East at Mactaggart & Mickel (pictured below), said: “This is an exciting deal for the team and supports our expansion in the South East. This strategically located site has the potential to deliver a scheme that will bring multiple benefits to the community. These include new homes to meet local demand, much needed affordable housing in the area and enhanced landscaping and green spaces; creating a place where people want to live. It is a fantastic opportunity for Mac Mic Group and one that we are confident we can deliver.”
